Heavy Metal

With all the high-dollar cars being built today, sometimes people just want to see what can be done with nothing. The Heavy Metal project was designed for just that purpose and it has captured the imagination of viewers all across the nation! The journey started when Stacey rescued a 1969 International cabover truck out of a junkyard and began to construct the ultimate junkyard vehicle… a hot rod tow truck! From the Duramax diesel engine to the vintage Holmes wrecker bed, most of the major parts either came out of a salvage yard or off ebay, and then were subjected to just the right amount of aftermarket products. It’s recycling at it’s best… and coolest! Tow mater would be proud!
