Stunt Double

Stunt Double

It’s a fact that most people get their first introduction to the car world through movies or television. The image of a cool car or truck doing some amazing stunts or chase scenes on the screen literally burns into the minds of young gearheads and will influence them forever. One show that did just that was the “Fall Guy” in the 1980’s. It featured veteran actor Lee Majors and the stunning Heather Thomas, but everybody knew the real star was the 80’s GM truck that pulled off insane stunts with no effort.
With the current popularity of the '73-'87 square body GM trucks growing everyday, the Stunt Double not only showcases the incredible potential of these vehicles, but also shows that they are still out there and affordable. They make a great project for a first-time builder on a tight budget or a seasoned pro that wants to push the envelope. The Stunt Double is not intended to be a clone of the old Fall Guy truck, but instead a modern, updated version of that iconic truck… basically it’s “stunt double”!
